When it rains like it is now, I have to find a good book, curl up and read. Ā I just starting to readĀ Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert; so far, the first two dozen pages have kept me interested.
Has anyone read it? Ā Any thoughts?

VERY very good. One of the best books I’ve read in years. If not ever. I am reading her “sequel” currently: Committed. And it is good as well but in a different way. Eat, Pray, Love is more of a narrative, almost a work of fiction as far as how it reads. Committed is a bit more like a “self help book”, for lack of a better term.
Gilbert is a truly talented author though. I think you will enjoy EPL.

Thanks, Kristen. I’m about a 1/3 of the way through now…hopefully the rest of the book won’t make me as hungry while I read!
I visited your site, and your work is beautiful!

Yes, her Italy portion of the book made me *very* hungry as well, but no – I don’t think that will continue through India & Indonesia. At least, it didn’t for me. Italy was about pleasure for Liz and food was her pleasure!
